Shipping Policy

We love sending your handcrafted jams, candles, and fire starters to you—fast, safe, and with minimal fuss. This policy explains how we ship, what to expect, and who’s responsible in case of delays or mishaps.


 

1. Shipping Destinations

We only ship to addresses with a valid residential or commercial street number. If you’re outside these regions, please contact us for potential special arrangements.


 

2. Shipping Methods & Costs

  • Standard Shipping – Best value for most orders. Shipping fee is calculated automatically at checkout based on destination and weight.
  • Expedited Shipping – Twice the standard price. Guarantees delivery within the standard‑time range (or next‑day where available).
  • Local Pick‑up – For residents in the [Your City] area. Pick‑up fee: $0.

Shipping for very small or very large orders (over 5 lb or under 1 lb) may incur a surcharge to cover packaging and handling.


 

3. Order Processing

  1. Payment Authorization – We capture payment the moment you checkout.
  2. Order Preparation – Your order is assembled within 24–48 hours (Mon‑Fri).
  3. Shipment – Once packaged, the shipment is handed over to the carrier and a tracking number is emailed to you.

 

4. Tracking & Delivery

  • A tracking link (carrier‑specific) is included in the order confirmation and shipping update emails.
  • Shipping carriers may require recipient signature for some package types; we’ll note that at checkout.
  • Package Handling: All items are wrapped in recyclable or compostable materials. If the package is damaged upon arrival, inform the carrier immediately (via email, carrier’s app, or phone).

 

5. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International)

  • The price displayed on the Site includes U.S. sales tax (where applicable). Anything else—customs duties, import taxes, or fees—is your responsibility.
  • Customs clearance can take additional time and may hold the package. If a fee is requested, the carrier will contact you for payment before delivery.

 

6. Shipping Restrictions

  • Prohibited Items: Items dangerous to transport (e.g., large flammable containers, certain candles) are not shipped. All jars of jam and candles are sealed and meet safety standards approved by the relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Size/Weight Limits: Packets over 20 lb or exceeding 18" in any dimension cannot be shipped via USPS/UPS/FedEx ground and will be sent via freight (extra fee applies).

 

7. Loss, Damage, or Late Delivery

Package lost/never arrives We initiate a claim with the carrier and offer a replacement or refund. Report the issue within 7 days of expected delivery.
Package damaged in transit We cover replacement or refund. Provide us with a photo of the damage and the carrier’s claim number (if opened).
Delivery delayed beyond estimated time No additional fee or compensation. We’ll keep you updated; contact support for status.

 

8. Order Modifications & Cancelations

  • Before Shipment – Contact support within 12 hours of checkout to change an address or cancel.
  • After Shipment – If you discover an address error or change of mind post‑shipment, you can still request a return (see Returns policy).
    Please note that shipping and handling fees are non‑refundable.
